Does wide acceptance proves the validity of an IDEA...???

If 6 or 8 or even 9 individuals out of a group of 10 are of a single opinion does that proves the validity of that opinion or idea. Does that means in medieval times when Copernicus was the only one of opinion that Earth is not the centre of the Universe but Sun is, he was wrong(& do not forget he was punished by the Church for this). Does that mean that the principle on which Democracy works that majority decides the result holds firm in all the scenarios? 

But as the time tells Copernicus was right and majority was not. This one example and several others prove that the base concept on which Democracy works is very much flawed and incomplete. Majority chooses a politician who is already corrupt or turns out to be one. And it is not that this happens only in point something percentage. Infact quite a large fraction of results are like that. 

Then how can we trust on such a concept to decide the course of our lives or of our country's future? Why do we feel so proud to be the largest democracy? Should we feel proud ??

In my point of view "flawed" is not the word that one should choose to describe democracy but "incomplete" is the right word. There is still a lot of work that is needed to be done on the concept of democracy to make it evolve and to move it forward towards a better version. Intellectuals have come to a full-stop on bettering the concept of democracy. It feels like they have taken their solace in the fact that majority have accepted that "east or west Democracy is the best". But they must remember that they cannot turn a blind eye towards the ills of their creation. It is their responsibility to mature it to the stage where its ills are mitigated and turned into the pros.


Most say that the biggest strength or USP of democracy is that it gives a chance to all the stakeholders to have a say in the output that will govern all of them. But is it so ??.....

COMPLAINING WIFE/GIRLFRIEND.....here is what to do...

For a few days I observed that Jules complaints a lot listening to which I started to wonder howcome she has such a negative view of everything. Initially I tried to find solutions , tried to motivate her to develop a positive outlook, even tried to fight, thinking that this might bring some change in her. But all the above approaches proved futile. She is still the same.  Complaints about fitting of her socks to colour of her shirt, about the Metro to colleague in office.
