Story of a BuLLS*It....a very Enlightening one...

Yesterday I watched MADARI. A very nice movie with a good message. Reminded me of A Wednesday. Jimmi Shergil as the main IO of the case was as good as he was in A Wednesday, always a class. He has matured so much since Mohabatein. Coming back to Madari, Irffan really rocks. I have always admired his acting and this time also he proves his mettle. 

Madari revolves around the issue of how the Hawks sitting in Government are eating away small birds in the street, that is how Politician nexus is exploiting common men. Well somehow it does portrays the real picture of our country under previous Government. But as far as I am of the view that current scenario is much more hopeful then it was before. It feels like air has less smell of corruption now then it has before. Though I would say that people are trying die-hard to present that the country is in jeopardy. All the news about Dalit atrocities, sectional politics seems absurd to me. 

When I observe the society around me I see nobody is concerned about anything other than earning their livelihood. Media earns it's by showcasing news items which spread negativity n hopelessness in society and that is the only reason behind all the bulls*it news items we see on them. 

There is this story I was listening to a few days back. It goes like this :

A Bull was grazing in a filed and a Pheasant was picking up lice sitting on him. Looking at a tree Pheasant said to Bull "at one time I could fly upto the top of that tree and look at me now". Bull said, "you can again gain that strength by eating my shit". Though hesitant at first Pheasant agreed to the proposition. He ate the Bulls*it, gained strength and flew to the top of the tree. The farmer who was sitting on watch saw the Pheasant and shot it down.

The moral of the story is :

BULLS*IT CAN TAKE YOU TO THE TOP BUT IT WILL NOT LET YOU RETAIN IT .. !!!!

It's strange how while watching a movie your thoughts can take you to a completely another aspect...more strange is the chain of thoughts through which it connects the two.

For those of you who will be able to grasp the essence of the story ( I expect most of you intelligent lot will) I will ask you to observe this in life around you and verify the practicality of it. Your comments will be deeply appreciated.

COMPLAINING WIFE/GIRLFRIEND.....here is what to do...

For a few days I observed that Jules complaints a lot listening to which I started to wonder howcome she has such a negative view of everything. Initially I tried to find solutions , tried to motivate her to develop a positive outlook, even tried to fight, thinking that this might bring some change in her. But all the above approaches proved futile. She is still the same.  Complaints about fitting of her socks to colour of her shirt, about the Metro to colleague in office. All day long.  Though I know it sounds irritating but as you know very well that HUSBANDS are not allowed to get irritated or angry :) .
