SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN.......IS IT JUST A SHOW OFF?

Should we be even asking this question? Is it the right question to ask at this moment? Well, I don’t think so. I think even if the politicians are showing off by cleaning places that are already clean but this certainly does not diminish the importance of the campaign to any bit. It certainly does not means that we should not take it seriously. Bharat will be swachh or not it totally depends on our seriousness and politicians did not have much to do in it. If every individual will do his part the campaign will surely pay-off. We don’t need government to keep our homes clean. In the same way, we don’t need it to keep our country clean. The public in itself is capable enough of doing it. Just by being conscious and dedicated towards cleanliness will start a chain reaction in society that will result in a cleaner and greener country. DONning in LonDON : Part-1

Recently I got a chance to visit London City. It all started in December. A training was to be imparted to some Delhi Metro employees. Didn't know I will be one of the lucky ones. After the list was declared, started the research work. Questions were straight : 1. Where to stay in affordable rates? 2. How to travel as travelling is something that can cost you more than your hotel bill! 3. How to manage training with exploring the city? I took the initiative to do it for all of us. I fired up my laptop and jumped into the battlefield with all my tools :) As most of the tourist attractions lie in and around Central London I decided the best place to live will be near to it. Our training centre was in Basingstoke City and the best way to travel between the two cities is by South-West Trains.
