Does wide acceptance proves the validity of an IDEA...???
If 6 or 8 or even 9 individuals out of a group of 10 are of a single opinion does that proves the validity of that opinion or idea. Does that means in medieval times when Copernicus was the only one of opinion that Earth is not the centre of the Universe but Sun is, he was wrong(& do not forget he was punished by the Church for this). Does that mean that the principle on which Democracy works that majority decides the result holds firm in all the scenarios? But as the time tells Copernicus was right and majority was not. This one example and several others prove that the base concept on which Democracy works is very much flawed and incomplete. Majority chooses a politician who is already corrupt or turns out to be one. And it is not that this happens only in point something percentage.
